Common uses
Extract a range when you need only part of a document: pull the signed pages out of a long contract, save one chapter of a report, or submit only the required pages of a form. Frequently asked questions
Will the extracted pages look identical?
Yes — pages are copied byte-for-byte, preserving fonts, images and vector graphics exactly. Splitting never re-renders or degrades content.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages, like 1, 3 and 7?
Run the tool once per contiguous range and then combine the results with the Merge PDF tool — or extract 1–7 and remove the pages you don't need with a PDF editor.
What about password-protected PDFs?
PDFs that require a password to open cannot be processed (the tool never asks for — or sees — your passwords). Files with only permission restrictions but no open password can usually be loaded.
