What is an online notepad for?
Anything you need to jot down and paste somewhere else in the next five minutes: a draft email, a list of links, temporary code, meeting notes, or text you are cleaning up on the way to another tool. Because saving is automatic and local, there is no friction — open, type, leave, come back and it is still here.

Where are my notes stored?
In your browser's localStorage — on your own device. We cannot read them, they are never uploaded, and clearing your browser data will remove them.
Can I use my notes on another device?
Not directly — local storage does not sync. Use the Download .txt button to carry your notes with you.
